This is a compact five-day private tour across western Georgia, from Tbilisi to the Black Sea at Batumi. It works well for travelers who want to see more than the capital but don't have time for a long trip. Itinerary

Your journey begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel in Tbilisi and a drive toward Georgia's ancient heartland. Stop first at the iconic Jvari Monastery, perched above the confluence of the Aragvi and Mtkvari rivers, then continue to Mtskheta to visit the UNESCO-listed Svetitskhoveli Cathedral. Carry on to Gori for the Stalin Museum, and explore Uplistsikhe, one of Georgia's oldest cave towns carved into the cliffs, before arriving in Kutaisi for the night.

Discover the spiritual and cultural treasures around Kutaisi today. Visit the mystical Motsameta Monastery, perched dramatically above the Tskhaltsitela River, and explore the magnificent Gelati Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site representing the golden age of medieval Georgian culture. Afterwards, soak up the colour and energy of the Kutaisi Green Bazaar, with free time to explore the city at your own pace.

Today you travel from Kutaisi to the Black Sea coast, beginning with one of Georgia's great natural wonders. Explore the vast underground halls of Prometheus Cave, with its stalactites, stalagmites and underground river — including an optional boat ride when it is operating. Continue west and, if open, stop at the Musicians Park in Shekvetili before reaching Batumi, where the rest of the day is free to enjoy the beach or the seaside boulevard.
