Hikasus Travel operates tours in Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan. You can travel in one country or combine two or all three in a longer Caucasus itinerary. We offer both private and group tours, with local guides throughout the journey.

Yes. Hikasus can arrange single-country tours as well as combined Caucasus itineraries. The exact route depends on your travel dates, trip length, passport and the current border and entry rules between the countries. Because border arrangements can change, we confirm the practical route before the trip rather than assuming every land crossing will be available.

There is no single best month for every part of Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan, but spring and autumn are excellent for many cultural and nature-focused trips. April to June brings green landscapes and comfortable sightseeing weather, while September and October are especially good for food, wine, hiking and photography. Summer works well for the mountains and higher-altitude regions, while winter is suitable for selected ski and winter experiences.

Visa requirements are different for each country and depend on your nationality and passport. Many travelers can visit Georgia and Armenia visa-free, while Azerbaijan requires an e-Visa for many nationalities that are not visa-free. Rules can change, so always check the requirements for your own passport before booking. It depends on the countries, your nationality and the current border rules. Georgia and Armenia have established overland connections, while Azerbaijan's land-entry rules are different and can affect how a combined itinerary is routed. Some journeys may therefore require a flight rather than a road crossing. Hikasus checks the current official rules before confirming a cross-border itinerary.

Georgia uses the Georgian Lari (GEL), Armenia uses the Armenian Dram (AMD), and Azerbaijan uses the Azerbaijani Manat (AZN). Each country has its own currency, so you will normally change or withdraw money when crossing between them.

Cards are widely accepted in hotels, restaurants and larger shops in major cities such as Tbilisi, Yerevan and Baku. Cash is still useful in villages, markets, family-run businesses and more remote areas. ATMs are widely available in the main towns and cities, so carrying a combination of card and some local cash is usually the most practical approach.

Hikasus tours run with local guides. English-speaking guides are available throughout Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan, and other guide languages may be available on request depending on the destination and dates. For private tours, confirm your preferred guide language when making your enquiry.

Private tours are flexible in length. You can choose a short city or regional trip, a one-week journey, or a longer itinerary covering several parts of Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan. For combined Caucasus trips, allowing more time usually creates a better pace and reduces unnecessary long travel days.

Inclusions depend on the individual tour, but packages can include accommodation, private or group transportation, a local guide or driver-guide, airport transfers, selected entrance fees, meals, wine tastings and other activities. Vehicle type depends on the itinerary and number of travelers. Hikasus uses suitable cars, minivans, minibuses and larger vehicles for different group sizes and routes. Mountain and remote-area itineraries may require a different vehicle from city and highway touring. For combined-country trips, transport arrangements can also vary depending on current border requirements.

Tour pages show the hotel options planned for each accommodation category. Depending on the itinerary, these can range from comfortable Classic and Mid-Range hotels to Premium properties, as well as selected guesthouses or mountain accommodation where they suit the route better.
