Hikasus Travel plans and runs private and group journeys across Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan — from single-country trips to combined Caucasus itineraries. We are a local team based in Georgia with 10+ years of on-the-ground experience.
Who we are
Hikasus Travel was founded in 2024, but the experience behind it goes back much further: our guides were born and raised in Georgia, and the team has spent more than a decade guiding travelers and planning routes across the Caucasus. Today, we create journeys in Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan, working with local guides and trusted partners in each destination. Our operational base remains in Tbilisi, giving travelers a direct local contact before and during their trip. We also maintain a European contact point in Belgium, giving travelers and partners an additional way to reach us.
How a tailor-made trip is planned
Every private tour on this site is a starting point rather than a fixed package. Tell us your dates, how many of you are traveling, the pace you prefer and what interests you most, and we build the route around that. That might mean exploring one country in depth or combining Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan into a longer Caucasus journey. Accommodation level, activities, transport and trip length can all be considered during planning.
What is arranged for you
Depending on the itinerary, we can arrange accommodation, transportation, airport transfers, local guides or driver-guides, entrance fees, activities, meals, wine tastings and other experiences before you arrive.
We work with local hotels, guides, drivers and travel partners across Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan, choosing services that fit the route and the level of comfort selected for each trip.
What to expect on the road
A good Caucasus itinerary needs structure, but it also needs room to adapt. Weather, mountain conditions, border requirements or simply a longer lunch at a family winery can change the rhythm of a day. Private travel gives us more flexibility to adjust where practical, while keeping the overall route and important reservations in place.
Local knowledge across the Caucasus
Hikasus is based in Georgia, but our journeys extend across Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan. We work with local guides and trusted partners in each country, so travelers are supported by people who understand the destination rather than by a distant reseller.
For combined Caucasus trips, we also coordinate the journey as a whole — including the practical details that come with changing countries, transport arrangements and current border requirements.
